I think the media portrays a very strong image of how the public should be like. There is a lot of pressure from the media, especially from advertisements using celebrities, on what size a person should be and how they should look. This therefore puts the pressure onto the public, which when magazines are put at eye-height for children, puts the pressure on the public from a very young age. There is then a lot of criticism for when children want to look a specific way. It is a vicious cycle.
